Senior Systems Administrator

Job Summary: This role is responsible for administrating the agency’s IT systems, including responding to the daily IT needs of the organization, ensuring proper organizational IT safety and security, and providing strategic oversight over IT initiatives. This position reports to the Director of Operations.

Requirements: Applicants are expected to possess current knowledge of best practices in information security, Active Directory, group policy server maintenance, cloud storage, Office 365, SharePoint, antivirus, and VPN technologies. Applicants are expected to have at least 5 years working in an information technology position. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, as is prior experience creating IT policy and systems of procedural control. Strong excel skills is a must. Prior experience working with SQL coding is a value add.

The ideal candidate is a systems thinker and problem solver with strong technical skills and insight into industry trends. We are looking for an effective communicator who is responsive to employee needs and able to plan and strategize for future technological needs. Must be organized, detailed oriented, and able to respond quickly to administrative needs while managing several projects with different timelines and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of FSCC computer systems and servers.

  • Provides strategic oversight and planning with respect to all information technology hardware, software, HIPAA compliance, data security, as well as all security systems used in FSCC facilities.

  • Assists in the development and execution of policy recommendations and quality improvement strategies for the safety and security of all staff, clients, and protection of agency assets, including HIPAA compliance.

  • Provides a timely response and completion of all IT help desk tickets and other user needs. Manages help desk software.

  • Collaborates with agency stakeholders to ensure IT needs are met for new, existing, and leaving employees.

  • Can assess the current IT infrastructure to make recommendations for improvement.

  • Participates, engages, listens, and learns in individual and team meetings.

  • Responsible to represent the agency in the community with courtesy and professionalism.

  • Responsible to review and adhere to all agency policies and procedures.

  • Other assignments and tasks may be added at the discretion of the Director of Operations & Quality Management.
